Christmas Celebration of Thailand.

Christmas at Chang Beer Garden of Central World PlazaA Christmas Day is a celebration of world wide and Thailand like an everywhere else in the world. Thailand is a predominantly Buddhist country and Christmas is somehow related to Christianity. Local Christian churches have special Christmas celebrations on Christmas Day.

The churches are decorated with either large artificial Christmas trees (because large pine trees do not exist in Thailand) or with small pine trees decorated with ornaments.

Every year in Thailand, as in other parts of the world, the little rich kids are told that if they are good they will be given gifts from Santa Claus. So Christmas parties in Thailand are held at hotels where people come to talk, drink, and exchange gifts with one another.

Songs like Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snow Man are sung. At the shopping malls the stores are decorated with wreaths, ribbons, and ornaments, similar to the way they are in the United States.
